Tony Alcantar, ImprovChicago
Second City alum Tony Alcantar is happy to run his improv/comedy scene study classes out of the Beaumont! His ImprovChicago classes focus on character/scene development to drive the comedy…an approach found nowhere else in Vancouver. If you’re tired of improv games, give Tony and his 25+ years of improv experience a try!
Téa Petrovic
Téa is a Vancouver based singer/pianist/songwriter who fuses elements of R&B, Soul, and Pop music into her own brand of “City Soul.” Drawing inspiration from diverse artists like Sade, Amy Winehouse, and Remy Shand, Téa has crafted an unmistakable sound that continues to win audiences over.

Whitfield
Released in 2006, Whitfield’s “Well Behaved & Working For You” generated extraordinary reviews and interest in the group. They were awarded Best Pop/Rock Song at the Independent Music Awards, Best of The Fest award at NewMusicWest, the Peoples Choice award at Toronto Indie Week, and Best Alternative Group at the Toronto Independent Music Awards. Their latest release, “Tornado Cutie” debuted with a sold out show at the legendary Richard’s on Richard’s in Vancouver. The six song EP is packed with the most exciting and dynamic Whitfield material to date, including the danceable first single, “Top Of The World.”

Miami Device
Miami Device is a 10-piece Afro-beat/Funk band based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Since their inception in 2007 the band has grown from a small four-piece funk experiment into the deep grooving, Fela-Kuti-inspired boogiethon that exists today.
